Watch out for the Danish Yoga lady on her bike 🚴🏻♀️🧘🏻♂️.
I went to a food/dinner event this early evening. It was a chance to meet people and connect over a meal with strangers. Long tables were the set up. Share and connect the philosophy behind the food concept. Sadly, Danish people aren’t good at being open and sharing. It is clear to see that people fear to go out alone even when an event invite us to do so. Basically I was the only one who came alone 🤔. A lady next to me asked about my partner. “I am alone. I came to eat and be social as it’s a food club event”, I said. She sat down with her man next to me. During a break between dinner and dessert her man wanted a cigarette and she got annoyed.
“I don’t smoke”, she said to me, as her guy left the table to go out to smoke his cigarette.

What I can say is this: Live and be happy on your own first. It’s easier said than done for many, I know that. But it’s a must. You have to do it because if you haven’t found completeness within yourself, it’s going to be impossible to find it with another.
First YOU! When you are able to do that, I promise you will be choosing the right partner for yourself, the right environment and life and habits which suits you. You will not end up with empty unfulfilling relationships and quick fixes. You will end up with quality and harmony. Let go of desperate searching, hoping that someone can fill out your empty holes. Re-write your story, don’t make the same mistakes year after year.
🌸
I come across many women who “fall in love” with men who aren’t in any alignment with their life, soul or health. It’s desperation and false story telling. If you appreciate clean living then why be with a partner who smokes packs of cigarettes a day and makes you feel unhappy because of the smell and his/her unhealthy habit? You can’t change people’s habits, so why spend years on trying to change them and getting pissed off?
🌸
If you love to do things then why stay unhappy with someone who prefers to be lazy and wake up in odd hours? If you love a lazy and unproductive lifestyle too, then it’s a perfect match. If not, don’t try to change your partner to do and live the same way you want. The same goes for friendships. I for example never travel with friends. I’ve tried it and it’s a disaster. Why? Because when I travel I like to take it slow. I can spend hours in a cafe, overlooking the scenery somewhere, searching forever for great food places. I dislike to walk all day long, most of my friends love it until they crash and burn with sore feet and lower back pain. That’s okay. But not for me.
🌸
Years ago I said clear and honest to a friend that it’s the last time we will travel together. We didn’t want to enjoy the holiday in the same way. No point in traveling together then 😁. I still love my friends but we can’t travel together because I am a slow-living kinda person 😀. Don’t stress me out with what I should do. I know exactly what I want and don’t want, and I’m super honest about it. No thank you to pressure, walk for 7 hours, tight time schedules, constant plans.
🌸
I’m the queen of self care, slow living, healthy living and in tune with myself and my needs. Very simple. Harmony is to live in alignment with what truly matters to us. If we focus on making our life look good to the outside world, we will soon end up in misery. If we pretend we are happy and stay with a partner or keep friendships which doesn't feel right because we are afraid to be alone, it’s a sure way to unhappiness. Life is YOU. Not someone to fill it out.
🌸
Let go of desperate searching and expectations. Make room to breathe and live. Staying stuck in the same mindset, and destructive worries can’t change a thing anyway. It’s the way to hell and chronic anxiety, poor sleep and a constant feeling of being stuck. Know what truly matters to you, make a few changes if you need to, and the right people will come your way, and some you might have to say goodbye to. 🙏🙏 ... See MoreSee Less

Ayurveda breakfast makes my day happy 🙏. It’s very rare I can get the kind of breakfast I enjoy when I’m on travels. This breakfast bowl could easily be my own. A lovely porridge topped with homemade apple, vanilla kompot, organic almonds and banana. Just my kind of breakfast 🙏.
The girls at Groed Cph Cafe made this one of organic oats, chia and quinoa cooked in organic almond milk. I know for some of you it’s way too much food science 😁. But this is perfectly amazing for little me 🙏
Would love to see what you’re having today. Don’t worry about picture perfect or if your breakfast or lunch plate is a sausage with beans 😄. Just share 🙏 ... See MoreSee Less

What I snack on this evening when I have a 10pm craving 🙄. Don’t feel guilty when you feel like snacking or having food late in the evening. Simple pleasures are healthy too 🙏 ... See MoreSee Less

Danish coffee moments 🙏. Each country has their own way of creating coffee. What I always appreciate in Copenhagen is the awareness on organic lifestyle. Almost every cafe in the city serves coffee with organic milk. Many cafes will have plant-based milk when you ask, and there’s always an option to order your coffee with low fat or semi-skimmed milk.
🌸
I myself prefer my coffee with normal milk. I don’t like the coffee taste when it’s mixed with soya, oats or rice milk. However, my breakfast cereal will never be with milk but always with plant based milk, preferably an organic soya or oats-milk 🙏. No, I don’t drink milk and I don’t believe milk is healthy for us in any way. In my coffee it’s a must to me, and that’s my simple pleasure in life, that’s all.
🌸
I believe in balance and less fanatic lifestyle. Ayurveda is my way of life 🙏. And whatever your way of life is, I’m sure it’s just as good as long as you feel well inside out. Imposing our food and lifestyle habits on others is not the way. Just live how you wish to live, and let everyone else live how they wish to live 🙏. ... See MoreSee Less

Thankful for this day 🙏. When good friends make efforts to make you happy and make you a typical and very traditional cake with love. It means the world to me. Even after a long work day a dear friend of mine took time to create a cake for me right after his long work day 🙏.
Life is beautiful when we share it and have lovely memories. The most important thing in life is to be where you have to be, stop analyzing, over thinking, living half, planning endlessly, and staying stuck in the same misery. Get up and do something and be where you have to be. Move ahead. Move forward. Life is short. A split second. Only you can make YOU happy by living in harmony, peace and happiness with yourself first and then share it with another and others.
🌸
When you’re happy with your life, your work, your base and environment, you are in a sweet zone in life, and the world around you will flow and follow 🙏. If you aren’t happy in your environment then move and change. Do something and make a difference. Your life is gold. Don’t waste it 🙏 ... See MoreSee Less

Time for lunch 🙏. Made a quick Ayurveda barley salad with whatever veggies I have. Rye-bread (got a few packs of rye-bread last week, which I surprisingly found in a local supermarket, unusual in Morocco).
Having it with homemade pesto. I will enjoy much more more rye-bread soon in wonderful Copenhagen 🙏. Made a quick spontaneous decision last night, bought tickets and off I’ll go later today. A few days in my hometown which I’m really looking forward to 🇩🇰 . ... See MoreSee Less
